Why did you start your business or take the role that you're in now?

As my son approached his first birthday, I searched for environmental gift giving options unfortunately I didn't find anything. We didn’t want to end up with an overwhelming number of toys, especially plastic ones nor did we want to receive double ups, I knew other parents would be in the same situation. I had to create a platform for busy families to buy experiences and activities for children instead of giving more stuff.

What inspires you and gets you out of bed in the mornings?

My child, that pure excitement first thing in the morning ready to play, learn and explore. He also inspires me to ensure his future includes a healthy planet.

What's been the best lesson you've learned in business or your career and why?

Never stop learning, this can be in the workplace, travelling or taking courses. Take every opportunity to continue to expand your knowledge and skills sets.

What's one piece of advice you'd give other women in business or in their careers?

Starting a business takes time so if you are thinking about doing it, start writing everything down now, research and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Talk to other business owners especially women you know and learn from them, meet with them, bounce ideas with them.
