AN INTERVIEW WITH MILLY GRANT-KORIA FROM TūRongo Collective
Milly and I met many years ago, doing a musical together, Little Shop of Horrors. We were two of the three narrators and I absolutely loved working with Milly. She's an incredible performer and vocalist who taught me so much about my own voice and having confidence on stage. Milly now runs her own business in New Zealand and has a beautiful family with three awesome children.
When did you start your business?
We started our business 8 years ago.

What inspires you and gets you out of bed in the mornings?
It’s different every day but most days I look forward to my smoothie and granola with my 3 children.
What's been the best lesson you've learned in business or your career and why?
Being vulnerable disciplined committed resilient and emotional guided. The more truthful I can be to the truth as to why we started the more I won’t be swayed by the pressures of running a “business” scheme.

What does the future look like for you?
My futures started, self employed with my hubby and travelling homeschooling knowing my children and family are also our employees
What's one piece of advice you'd give other women in business or in their careers?
Be fiercely gentle and ok to share your changes. Difference is our stance, be fierce in your authenticity.
